The beginnings of the Bible Sabbath Association can be traced back to late 1943. It became the outcome of correspondence between a few Sabbath-keepers of various beliefs and affiliations who felt the need for a closer cooperation between various Sabbath-keeping people.
The Bible Sabbath Association belives in promoting fellowship and cooperation between Sabbath-keeping people of various groups; on a nondenominational basis; to restore respect and honor for the Ten Commandments as a whole (with emphasis on the Fourth); to encourage the repeal of laws which enforce the keeping of Sunday (or any day) by any unit of man’s government; and to defeat the adoption of any calendar which would disrupt the seven-day weekly cycle.
We do hereby associate ourselves together for the purpose of increasing the knowledge of, and upholding the sublime truths which establish the Seventh Day of the week (Saturday) as the Sabbath Day, a sacred and vital element of the Scriptures, and as God's Holy Day, made for all mankind.
